Patients are offered admission for a period of 2 weeks. The Hospice has 10 beds for patients who might require

· assessment/symptom control
· rehabilitation
· care in the last stages of life

The Hospice does not offer long term care.

Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation

Dr Kershaw’s Hospice has neither the necessary facilities nor the resources to undertake advanced cardiopulmonary resuscitation. In an emergency however, all other appropriate measures will be taken.
